And since we're entirely volunteer – with no office, salaries, or paid staff – administrative costs are less than 2% of revenues! So far, we've distributed over $2 million to support music education for children – hundreds of grants in all 50 states, with more on the way.
There are dozens of reviews posted on a handful of sites after every show. If you don't like this one then take your finger out of your ass and click on another site. Don't shit on someone just for the sake of being a dick. Grow up. And you can download every show. This isn't the days of chasing phatty Dead tapes anymore. It's all out there. Take a listen. Fast forward if you're not digging it. But form your own damn opinion. I haven't listened to every show in the last couple years but I have them all on a hard drive (thanks etree) and I will listen to them in time.
These guys won't be doing this forever. The older people on here will remember when Jerry died. I had the pleasure of being at the last two Dead shows at Soldier Field and had plans to go on tour the next summer... Never got the chance. Thank God I was introduced to these four guys and found something that was uniquely mine. My life has been so much happier for it.
If you truly love this band, listen to everything. Old, new, sloppy Trey, sober Trey, 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, type I, type II.... Just listen. And be amazed. No one does it better. No one. Stop your god damn whining and start remembering that shit. And for Pete's sake... quit being such a bunch of whiny bitches..
